well, here's the rub. We probably don't even need supplements unless we're over 50 (says we might need B-12 if we are), have certain serious health conditions mentioned, live where we don't get any sunshine, are pregnant or live in very polluted areas -- and maybe not even then. A good multivitamin might be helpful to avoiding certain ailments, but it seems like even this might be hard on the liver if we're already eating well. Surprising how much isn't really known about how much of which vitamins can cause harm. I really like this source as a wake-up antidote to all the misinformation out there.
