It's an interesting study. I wonder why they decided on using only neck surgery patients and not other surgery patients? Maybe there's something about Vit. C needs and neck surgery? I wish it the article was longer.

The reason only one study is sited is because that is the only study with the statistical artifact showing a drop in vitamin C levels post-op. In reality, and in subsequent studies, this drop does not occur.
